PM works on party's official matter until 3 AM at Gulshan office

Prime Minister (PM) Tarique Rahman continued official party work until 3:00am on Saturday night (April 18) at the party’s political office in the capital's Gulshan.

Jahidul Islam Rony, deputy press secretary to PM, confirmed the late-night schedule.

"Tarique Rahman remained at the office until early morning while completing important party-related duties as nomination interviews for reserved women’s seats for the upcoming 13th parliamentary election continued," he said.

Several senior BNP leaders, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and standing committee members Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Nazrul Islam Khan, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, and Selima Rahman, Senior party officials and additional press personnel were present during the extended session.

According to party sources, Tarique Rahman has been personally conducting interviews of nomination seekers from different divisions, including Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, and Mymensingh.
