PM's Adviser Mahdi Amin leaves for 3-day official visit to China

Prime Minister's Adviser and spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office Mahdi Amin left Dhaka on Tuesday night (August 25) for a three-day official visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese government.

Amin departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:30pm on a China Southern Airlines flight to attend international events and discussions on technical and vocational education.

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen was at the airport to see him off and extend his best wishes.

Technical and Madrasah Education Division Secretary Mohammad Daud Mia along with Chinese Embassy Cultural Counsellor Li Shaopeng and Third Secretary of the Cultural Section Xia Daojing were also present there.

During his visit, Amin is scheduled to participate in international programmes and discussions focused on technical and vocational education, an area of growing bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
