Police headquarters, DMP publish special hotline numbers

Bangladesh Police and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, DMP, have published special hotline numbers to receive complaints and information related to the law and order situation.

In a press release signed by Home Ministry public relations officer Faisal Hasan on Monday, February 2, it was said the operation control room numbers at Police Headquarters will remain active round the clock.

Police Headquarters operation control room numbers are 01320001223, 01320001300 and 01320001299.

Members of the public have been requested to contact these numbers to report any law and order related complaints or provide important information.

Meanwhile, the DMP has launched special hotlines for the 13th national parliamentary election and referendum. DMP deputy commissioner for media and public relations Talebur Rahman said city residents can use these numbers to quickly report any election-related information or complaints.

DMP special hotline numbers are 01320037358, 01320037359 and 01320037360.

The public has also been urged to use these numbers to report any activities that violate the electoral code of conduct or could influence the election, including complaints regarding police intervention.

In a statement, the DMP sought cooperation from city residents to ensure a free, fair and neutral election and to maintain normal law and order.
