The National Consensus Commission will hold a crucial dialogue with political parties today to discuss the legal framework and implementation methods of the July Charter.

The meeting is scheduled for 2:30pm.

Invited parties, including BNP, Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP), Jamaat-e-Islami, and others, will participate in the discussion.

BNP's standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed will represent the party, as announced by its press wing.

There are speculations that Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus may also attend the meeting.

While political parties have largely reached a consensus on the July Charter, a clear agreement on the implementation process remains pending.

The commission, led by Dr. Ali Riaz, has suggested multiple approaches for implementation, including a referendum, special constitutional order, ordinance, or executive order.

The commission previously met with political parties on September 11 to further deliberate on these options.
