Polling centres for Chief Adviser, Tarique Rahman, Shafiqur Rahman confirmed

Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary election, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus will cast his vote at Gulshan School in Dhaka. BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to vote at Gulshan Model High School and College, located on Road 86, Ward 1/D of the Gulshan-2 area. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman will vote at 60 Feet Manipur Boys High School in Dhaka.

The information was confirmed by the Election Commission on Tuesday (February 10).

Separately, the commission clarified that postal service vehicles will be exempt from the vehicle restrictions imposed during the election and referendum period. This is to facilitate the transport of postal ballots, including the IT-supported postal voting system for eligible voters inside the country and abroad.

Earlier, the Road Transport and Highways Division issued a notification banning vehicle movement in election areas from midnight February 11 to midnight February 12. The Election Commission has requested necessary arrangements to allow postal ballot vehicles to operate freely during this period.
