Portfolios distributed among advisers of interim government
Portfolios have been distributed among the new advisers of the interim government of Bangladesh.
Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Friday.
According to the notification, Chief Adviser Nobel laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus distributed the portfolios.
The notification said the chief adviser has taken responsibilities of 27 ministries and divisions--Cabinet Division, Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces Division, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Food, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Land
Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Shipping, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, Ministry of Commerce
Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
Meanwhile, Salehuddin Ahmed has been made adviser for the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Planning and Asif Nazrul has taken the charge of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
Md Nahid Islam will head the ICT Ministry and Asif Mahmud will head the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Adilur Rahman Khan gets Industries ministry, Hasan Arif local government, rural development and co-operatives, Tauhid Hossain foreign affairs, Syeda Rizwana Hasan environment, forest and climate change, Environment, Forest and Climate Change social welfare, Brig Gen (Retd) M Sakhawat Hossain home affairs, Dr AFM Khalid Hossain religious ministry, Farida Akhtar fisheries and livestock and Nurjahan Begum health and family welfare.
