Posters of banned Chhatra League at various gates of Jahangirnagar University

The leaders and activists of the university unit of the banned organisation Chhatra League have put up posters at the main gate, Prantik Gate and various other gates of the campus of Jahangirnagar University.

The pictures of these posters spread on social media in the afternoon on Saturday (October 17).

In the poster the verdict given against President of Chhatra League Saddam Hossain and General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Enan has been mentioned as the ‘verdict of an illegal, unconstitutional kangaroo court’.

It has been written in the poster, “We Jahangirnagar University Chhatra League have rejected this verdict with contempt. We Don’t Care.”

Regarding this matter Acting Chief Security Officer of the university Zefrul Hasan Chowdhury said that it has not yet been confirmed when the incident occurred. It will be possible to give the details in this regard after seeing the CCTV footage.
