Postponed HSC exams of Chattogram Board to begin from July 27
The remaining HSC and equivalent examinations of the Chattogram Education Board, which were postponed due to floods and natural disasters, will resume from July 27. Examinees will sit for the remaining exams according to the currently announced regular routine.
However, the examinations that were already held earlier will be conducted again later under a new routine.
Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon confirmed the matter on Thursday (July 23).
Earlier, on July 16, all remaining HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board for 2026 were postponed until further notice, considering the post-flood situation in the affected areas, the physical and mental condition of the examinees, and disruptions to road communication.
At the same time, the remaining examinations of the Alim under the Madrasa Education Board and the HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce under the Technical Education Board were also postponed.
It may be noted that HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board have been suspended since July 8. However, apart from the Chattogram Education Board, HSC and equivalent examinations under all other general education boards, the Madrasa Education Board and the Technical Education Board are being held according to the previously announced schedule.
