Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku has been admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the capital due to illness. He was admitted to the hospital at around 10:30pm on Tuesday (September 1). The minister’s personal assistant, Abdullah Al Kayes, confirmed the matter, saying that Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku had been suffering from a high fever for the past few days. Following advice from specialist doctors, he was subsequently admitted to the hospital for necessary health tests and advanced treatment. He is currently under the close observation of specialist doctors at the hospital, and treatment is underway. His family has requested the people of the country to pray for his speedy recovery.

অসুস্থতার কারণে রাজধানীর ইব্রাহিম কার্ডিয়াক হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন বিদ্যুৎ, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদমন্ত্রী ইকবাল হাসান মাহমুদ টুকু। মঙ্গলবার (১ সেপ্টেম্বর) রাত সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে তাকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। মন্ত্রীর ব্যক্তিগত সহকারী আব্দুল্লাহ আল কায়েস বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে জানান, ইকবাল হাসান মাহমুদ টুকু গত কয়েক দিন ধরে তীব্র জ্বরে ভুগছিলেন। পরবর্তীতে বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকদের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজনীয় স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা ও উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য তাকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। বর্তমানে তিনি হাসপাতালে বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকদের নিবিড় পর্যবেক্ষণে রয়েছেন এবং তার চিকিৎসা কার্যক্রম চলছে। তার দ্রুত আরোগ্য কামনায় পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে দেশবাসীর কাছে দোয়া চাওয়া হয়েছে।
