President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned to Dhaka after a two-day visit to Thakurgaon. The President's Press Wing confirmed his return on Monday (September 7). According to the Press Wing, President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir arrived safely in Dhaka after completing his two-day visit. Earlier, on Sunday (September 6), the helicopter carrying the President landed at Thakurgaon's Shaheed Mohammad Ali Stadium around 12:30pm. The President waved to the people of Thakurgaon to greet them. He was welcomed with flowers by the citizens' reception committee and the local administration.

দুই দিনের ঠাকুরগাঁও সফর শেষে ঢাকায় ফিরেছেন রাষ্ট্রপতি মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর। সোমবার (৭ সেপ্টেম্বর) রাষ্ট্রপতির ঢাকায় ফেরার তথ্য জানিয়েছে তাঁর প্রেস উইং। প্রেস উইং থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, দুই দিনের সফর শেষে রাষ্ট্রপতি মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর নিরাপদে ঢাকায় পৌঁছেছেন। এর আগে রোববার (৬ সেপ্টেম্বর) দুপুর সাড়ে ১২টার দিকে নিজ জেলা ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ের শহীদ মোহাম্মদ আলী স্টেডিয়ামে রাষ্ট্রপতিকে বহনকারী হেলিকপ্টার অবতরণ করে। পরে হাত নেড়ে ঠাকুরগাঁওবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছা জানান রাষ্ট্রপতি। এ সময় নাগরিক সংবর্ধনা কমিটি ও স্থানীয় প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে তাঁকে ফুল দিয়ে শুভেচ্ছা জানানো হয়।
