President returns to Dhaka wrapping up four-day Pabna visit

President Mohammed Sahabuddin returned to Dhaka on Tuesday (March 31) following a four-day official visit to his home district of Pabna.

He departed from the helipad at Pabna Cadet College around noon, heading to Bangabhaban by helicopter.

The visit began on Saturday with his arrival at Shaheed Advocate Amin Uddin Stadium, where local officials, community leaders, and residents welcomed him.

During the trip, the President received a guard of honour at the Circuit House, paid respects at the central cemetery in Arifpur, and met with journalists at the Pabna Press Club.

On Monday, he visited Bhabanipur Mosque, spent time with relatives, and met with leaders of the Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss local development and employment initiatives, urging investment in potential sectors.

The President also inspected the construction progress of a Shahi Jame Mosque in Charbhabanipur.

Throughout the visit, district authorities implemented extensive security measures and ensured smooth arrangements for official engagements.
