Press secretary Shafiqul Alam to return to journalism

The tenure of the interim government is drawing to a close. On February 17, the swearing-in ceremony of the BNP-led government will take place. With this, the responsibilities of the Chief Adviser's Press Wing members will also come to an end. After completing their duties, they have expressed interest in returning to their primary profession of journalism.

Members of the Press Wing shared their future plans during a briefing on Sunday, February 15, at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital regarding the advisory council meeting.

Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said, "I will return to journalism. As for what the other two will do, they know best."

Senior Assistant Press Secretary Faiz Ahmad said, "I intend to return to journalism. After the oath-taking on the 17th, our responsibilities will end. Thereafter, I will remain open for jobs; you can look out for opportunities for me."

Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita Tithi informed, "I used to work in journalism before. Now I have plans to go abroad for studies, so I will take a break. I will decide later whether to do journalism for some time or go abroad, I am currently undecided."
