The results of the 2025 Primary Scholarship Examination will be published today (July 9), with the Directorate of Primary Education completing all preparations for the announcement.

The results will be officially unveiled by Primary and Mass Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milan at a press briefing at the ministry in this morning.

According to the Directorate of Primary Education, 82,500 students have been selected for scholarships this year. Of them, around 80 percent are from government primary schools, while the remaining 20 percent are from non-government primary schools and kindergartens.

More than 6,40,000 students took part in this year's scholarship examination, including around 5,50,000 from government primary schools and nearly 90,000 from non-government institutions and kindergartens.

The examinations were held across most districts between April 15 and 18, while candidates in Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban sat for the tests from April 17 to 20 under a separate schedule due to geographical and administrative considerations.

Based on the results, scholarships will be awarded in two categories—Talent Pool and General Grade. A total of 33,000 students will receive Talent Pool scholarships, while 49,500 will receive General Grade scholarships.

Students selected for the Talent Pool category will receive Tk 300 per month along with an annual grant of Tk225. Those under the General Grade category will receive Tk225 per month and an annual grant of Tk 225. The financial assistance will continue for two years after completion of primary education.

The Directorate said results will be available through the IPEMIS online portal as well as via SMS service, allowing students and guardians to check their scholarship status shortly after the official publication.
