Prime Minister inspects DNCC cleanliness operations at night

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has inspected the cleanliness operations of the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Thursday night (July 30).

He began the inspection around 9:10pm, according to the prime minister’s deputy press secretary, Md Sujauddoula.

Sujauddoula said the prime minister drove the vehicle himself, with DNCC Administrator Md Shafiqul Islam Khan Milton seated beside him, as they inspected cleanliness activities in the Farmgate area.

He then visited the Jatiya Sangsad area before travelling through the Cantonment to Mohakhali. The prime minister later toured the Banani Chairman Bari area and returned to his residence in Gulshan via Banani.

During the drive, the prime minister gave various directives to the DNCC administrator on several issues, he said.

The prime minister’s additional press secretary, Atikur Rahman Ruman, and his personal officials were also part of the motorcade.

Sujauddoula added that the prime minister had spent a busy day at the Secretariat and later went out at night with the DNCC administrator to inspect the condition of road and street cleanliness across the city.
