Prime Minister Tarique Rahman pays tribute at National Martyrs’ Memorial

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman payed homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar on the first working day of his government.

At 11:00am, the Prime Minister laid a wreath at the memorial, accompanied by members of the cabinet, honouring the nation’s war heroes.

Following the wreath-laying ceremony, he and the ministers are scheduled to pay respects at the graves of the late President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

Later in the day, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend a cabinet meeting at 3:00pm, followed by a discussion session with senior secretaries at 4:00pm.

The Prime Minister’s Office has instructed relevant departments to ensure all preparations for the day’s schedule are effectively implemented.
