Prime Minister Tarique visits graves of parents

After taking oath as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman visited the graves of his father, martyred President Ziaur Rahman, and his mother, Begum Khaleda Zia.

He visited the graves at Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Tuesday.

BNP has won the 13th National Assembly elections and achieved a majority. BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman was sworn in as the country's 11th Prime Minister at 4:15 pm on Tuesday (February 17).

President Md. Shahabuddin administered the oath to him. Earlier this morning, the oath-taking of all members of parliament was held. Later, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman was sworn in as the Prime Minister at 4:15 pm. All ministers were also sworn in in turn.

Later, 10 people have been appointed as advisers in the ranks of ministers and state ministers of the newly formed government.
