Prime Minister to exchange Eid greetings from Jamuna
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will exchange Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with diplomats, academics, and people from all walks of life at the state guest house Jamuna on Eid day.
The programme will begin at 10:00am, the prime minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon said on Wednesday (March 18).
The Prime Minister will start the day by offering Eid prayers at the National Eidgah before heading to Jamuna, where he will first greet members of the diplomatic corps.
He will later exchange greetings with cabinet members, lawmakers, eminent citizens, academics, religious scholars, artists, writers, and senior government and private sector officials.
Following the event, the Prime Minister will visit Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with family members to pay respects at the graves of former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
