Public Works Commission (PSC) chairman Md Sohorab Hossain has resigned. He submitted his resignation to the PSC secretary on Tuesday (October 8) afternoon. A PSC official confirmed the matter. Sohorab Hossain began his career as an assistant commissioner through Bangladesh Civil Service in 1986 (Batch 1984). During his career, he served in various important positions. He was the Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education Division and also worked as the Secretary in Ministry of Education and Rector in Bangladesh Civil Service (Admin) Academy with great commitment and dedication.

সরকারি কর্ম কমিশনের (পিএসসি) চেয়ারম্যান মো. সোহরাব হোসাইন পদত্যাগ করেছেন। মঙ্গলবার (৮ অক্টোবর) বিকালে তিনি পিএসসির সচিবের কাছে পদত্যাগপত্র জমা দেন। পিএসসির একজন কর্মকর্তা বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন। তিনি গণমাধ্যমে বলেন, আজ চেয়ারম্যান পদত্যাগ করেছেন। এমনকি দুজন সদস্য ছাড়া প্রতিষ্ঠানটির বেশিরভাগ সদস্য পদত্যাগ করেছেন।
