Rear Admiral Moinul Hasan appointed new Coast Guard Director General

Rear Admiral Md Moinul Hasan of the Bangladesh Navy has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Coast Guard.

A gazette notification to this effect was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (August 19).

According to the notification, Rear Admiral Md Moinul Hasan has been appointed on deputation as Director General of the Bangladesh Coast Guard. His service has been placed under the Ministry of Home Affairs for this appointment.

Previously, Rear Admiral Md Ziaul Haque was serving as Director General of the Coast Guard. Following the new appointment, he has been returned to the Navy.

The Ministry of Public Administration notification stated that Rear Admiral Md Ziaul Haque’s service has been placed under the Armed Forces Division.
