The Reform Commissions are set to officially publish their reports on February 8, according to Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul.

Dr. Nazrul shared this update during a briefing organized by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Tuesday.

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul and Deputy Press Secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Majumder were also present at the event.

Dr. Nazrul said, "The full reports of the Reform Commissions will be published on February 8. On that day, the commission heads will present recommendations detailing the necessary steps for short-term, medium-term, and long-term reforms. The complete report and recommendations will be shared with various political parties and the forces involved in the July mass uprising on the same day."

He further said, "Afterward, political parties and groups linked to the July mass uprising will engage in discussions and negotiations. These discussions will pave the way for the first official meeting of the National Consensus Commission."

This meeting is expected to take place in mid-February.

"The final date will be determined through discussions with political parties. The first meeting of the National Consensus Commission will be chaired by Commission Head Professor Muhammad Yunus, with representatives from all political parties, movements, and commission heads in attendance," Dr. Nazrul added.
