Religious Minister Kaikobad returns home after treatment in Singapore

Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad has returned to Bangladesh after completing medical treatment in Singapore.

He arrived in the country early Thursday (August 13), according to his family.

The minister recently underwent hip joint replacement surgery at a hospital in Singapore. Following the successful procedure, he remained under close medical supervision and has since been recovering well. He has also resumed normal walking on his doctors’ advice.

His family said Kaykobad is continuing to take necessary rest and follow-up treatment in accordance with his doctors’ recommendations.

Meanwhile, people from various walks of life have prayed for the minister’s speedy recovery and full restoration of health. Special prayers and supplications were held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka and several other mosques and religious institutions across the country.
