Saudi Ambassador meets PM, hands over Crown Prince’s letter

Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah Jafar H. Bin Abiah on Monday (July 6) paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and handed over a letter from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

The meeting took place at around 9:40am at the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Press Wing.

During the meeting, the Saudi envoy formally presented the Crown Prince's letter to the prime minister. The two sides also discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and explored issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman, the Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir, and Saudi Deputy Ambassador Ibrahim Abdullah were also present at the meeting.

The discussion reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to enhancing cooperation across key areas of shared interest.
