Simultaneous transfer of 23 police officers

The government has simultaneously transferred 23 police officers holding the ranks of Metropolitan Police Commissioner, DIG, Additional DIG, and Superintendent of Police. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued these administrative changes through four separate notifications on Wednesday.

According to the notifications, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner and DIG Mohammad Abdul Mabud has been transferred to the Rangpur Range. Industrial Police DIG Zulfikar Ali Haider has been assigned responsibility for the Barishal Range.

Highway Police Additional DIG Farida Yasmin has been attached to the Barishal Range, while Additional DIG Mir Moddadasher of the same force has been transferred to Sardah in Rajshahi. RAB Additional DIG Saleh Uddin has been given responsibilities in the Highway Police.

Additionally, the transfer list includes police officers of Superintendent of Police rank serving in the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), and the Special Branch (SB).
