Simultaneous transfer of 38 customs officials

A total of 38 officials, including commissioners, have been transferred simultaneously in the customs department. Among the transferred officials are three commissioners, four joint commissioners, five additional commissioners, eight deputy commissioners, and eighteen assistant commissioners.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) issued these transfer orders through five separate notifications on Thursday, February 5. One of the orders was dated February 3, and the other four were issued on February 5. According to the notifications, these officials have been posted from their current positions in Dhaka to various customs houses across the country, and vice-versa.

The three transferred commissioners are Abul Bashar Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman (current duty), and Mohammad Zakir Hossain (current duty). The four joint commissioners include Mohammad Al Amin, Suman Das, Majedul Haque, and Mahibur Rahman Bhuiyan.

The five additional commissioners are Kamnashish, Mohammad Selim Sheikh, Rakibul Hasan, Minhaz Uddin, and Abdul Rashid Mia. The list of eight deputy commissioners includes Mohammad Saifur Rahman, Prabhat Kumar Singha, Nurun Nahar Lily, Tanzila Yasmin, Jobaida Khanam, Rabindra Kumar Singha, Mohammad Mashiour Rahman, and Ali Reza Haider.

Additionally, the eighteen transferred assistant commissioners are Shubhra Dev Mondol, Apurba Saha, Abdus Sattar, Foysal Ahmad, Mohammad Shaukat Hossain, Dipu Ram Roy, Samia Nishat, Mohammad Ayub, Firoz Hossain Bishwas, Asibul Haque, Rebeka Sultana Reema, Abu Saleh Abdun Noor, Minhaz Uddin Ahmed Sourav, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Mohammad Abdullah, AKM Jamiul Alam, Abdus Salam, and Mostafa Kamal.
