Six police officers transferred

Six police officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police have been transferred. The decision was announced in a notification signed by Police Inspector General (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir on Monday, April 13.

The notification stated that the transferred officers must join their new workplaces by April 27. Failure to join within the stipulated time will result in them being considered 'stand released' from April 28.

The transferred officers are Additional Superintendent of Police of Kishoreganj Mohammad Mahmudul Islam Talukdar, Additional Superintendent of Police at Mymensingh Range DIG office Md Nuruzzaman, Assistant Superintendent of Police of Rangpur D-Circle Nahid Hasan, Assistant Superintendent of Police of Bhairab Circle in Kishoreganj Mohammad Foyzul Islam, Assistant Superintendent of Police at Rangpur Range DIG office Dil Ashrafi Latif, and Assistant Superintendent of Police of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) A K M Manjurul Alam.
