Sonali Life, MILVIK sign agreement to boost digital insurance services

Sonali Life Insurance, a fourth-generation life insurance company in Bangladesh, has signed a bilateral agreement with telemedicine service provider MILVIK Bangladesh to improve service delivery for customers.

The signing ceremony took place at Sonali Life’s head office in Dhaka on Monday (September 15).

Acting Chief Executive Officer of Sonali Life, Rafiqul Islam, and Country Manager of MILVIK Bangladesh, Md. Shihab Uddin, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Sonali Life Director Sheikh Mohammad Daniel, COO Mohammad Manjur Morshed, CIO Hasib Reza, AMD Emdadul Haque Sahil, MILVIK Country Lead (Finance) Riaz Mostafa, Israt Mostafa, and other senior officials from both companies were present there.

Under the agreement, Sonali Life’s customers, officials, and employees will have access to Milvic’s telemedicine services. At the same time, Sonali Life’s insurance plans will be made more accessible and efficient through Milvic’s digital platform.

Commenting on the initiative, Rafiqul Islam said the collaboration aims to strengthen customer-centric services, noting that the integration of telemedicine will allow clients to access healthcare and insurance benefits simultaneously. He described the move as a key step in Sonali Life’s digital transformation.

Milvic Bangladesh Country Manager Md. Shihab Uddin said the partnership is highly significant, as it will enable customers to receive quality healthcare along with faster, more reliable insurance services through a digital platform.
