Special cell formed for quick disposal of problems and complaints of expatriates

The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment has taken a special initiative for the quick solution of various problems and complaints of the Bangladeshis living abroad. A special ‘Complaint Disposal and Resolution Cell’ has been formed with the experienced officers of the ministry for this purpose.

It has been informed in a press release of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment that through this new cell the expatriate Bangladeshis will be able to inform their problems and complaints directly to the concerned authorities by e-mail even while staying abroad. Necessary measures will be taken quickly by reviewing every received complaint with importance.

The officers in charge of the cell will verify and scrutinise the complaints received through e-mail and send them to the concerned office or authority. After that the matter of the progress and disposal of the complaint will be followed up as informed in the press release.

The ministry has informed that the applications and complaints received from the expatriates will be reviewed regularly. These complaints will be presented to the minister and the secretary of the ministry on a daily and weekly basis so that quick decisions can be taken from the policy-making level on the important matters.

It has been said in the office order that the cell will take the necessary measures for the quick disposal of the complaints received at the e-mail addresses minister@probashi.gov.bd and inister.expat@gmail.com.

It is being hoped that the process of informing the complaints of the expatriate Bangladeshis will become easier due to this initiative of the ministry. At the same time this cell will also work with the target of increasing the accountability and the speed of decision-making in the case of the disposal of complaints.
