Special guidelines for Biman passengers travelling to London

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has issued special guidelines for passengers travelling from Bangladesh to London on Biman-operated flights, urging them to verify the accuracy and validity of their visa and passport details before travel.

In a press release issued on Monday, February 9, Biman said all passengers bound for London must ensure that their visa and passport are valid prior to departure. It also said that the latest passport information must be updated in the UKVI account at least 48 hours before travel.

The airline warned that, according to UK Border Force guidelines, failure to update passport or visa details may result in additional checks, delays or travel-related complications upon arrival in the United Kingdom.

Biman therefore requested passengers to complete all necessary formalities properly before starting their journey.

It may be noted that recent procedural changes in the UK’s new border system have created entry complications for dual British nationals, with many Bangladeshi passengers facing difficulties. In this context, Biman Bangladesh Airlines issued the special advisory for London-bound travellers.
