Spirit of liberation war yet to be fully realized: Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed

Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed has said that the dreams envisioned during the 1971 Liberation War have not yet been fully realised.

He made the remarks while speaking to journalists after Eid prayers at the Jatiya Sangsad premises on Saturday (March 21).

The speaker said Bangladesh has embarked on a renewed journey of democracy, and the people have elected representatives with high hopes.

He expressed confidence that members of parliament would work collectively to fulfill public expectations.

The Speaker also noted the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, warning that countries like Bangladesh could face economic challenges in the future.

He also prayed for a swift end to the war and hoped that Bangladesh and other Muslim nations would achieve economic progress and stability.

Hafiz Uddin Ahmed extended his greetings to the nation and called on all citizens to unite in realizing the true spirit of the Liberation War.
