SSC and equivalent exam results to be published on August 10

The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on 10 August. The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee confirmed the date in a press release on Monday, July 27.

The press release, signed by committee chairman and Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chairman Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, said the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations-2026 will be published simultaneously across the country on 10 August. The procedures for collecting and viewing the results will be announced later through separate notifications.

According to the earlier announcement, the SSC results were scheduled to be published on 20 July this month, but were postponed as preparations were not completed.

On 18 July, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, had informed that the results would not be published on 20 July. However, he said they were prepared to publish the results within July.

Earlier, on 8 June, Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon told a press conference at the Secretariat that the 2026 SSC and equivalent examination results would be published on 20 July. He had issued directives to the concerned authorities in this regard.

This year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on 21 April and continued until 20 May, followed by practical examinations.

A total of over 1,857,000 examinees participated in the examinations this year, including SSC under nine general education boards, Dakhil under the Madrasa Education Board, and SSC and Dakhil (Vocational) under the Technical Education Board.
