SSC, equivalent results unlikely on July 20

The publication of this year's SSC and equivalent examination results has been postponed, with the previously planned July 20 announcement now unlikely due to administrative engagements.

Confirming the development, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, said a new date has not yet been finalised. However, authorities expect to publish the results within this month.

Under the usual practice, SSC and equivalent results are released within 60 days of the completion of the written examinations. This year's SSC exams began on April 21, while written tests ended on May 20 for the nine general education boards and on May 24 for the Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) streams.

A total of 1,857,344 candidates registered for the SSC and equivalent examinations this year, including 1,418,398 under the nine general education boards, 304,286 under the Madrasah Education Board, and 134,660 under the Technical Education Board.
