SSC exams to begin on January 7, HSC on June 6 in 2027: Education Minister

The 2027 SSC and equivalent examinations will begin on January 7, while the HSC and equivalent examinations will start on June 6, Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon has said.

The minister made the announcement at a press conference at the Secretariat conference room on Thursday afternoon, May 14. The SSC exams will conclude on February 6, and the HSC exams will end on July 13. Work on preparing the routines is already underway.

Earlier, there was a plan to hold the exams in December, but stakeholders raised objections. The decision was subsequently revised.
