SSC re-scrutiny results to be published at 10am today
Results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examination answer-script re-scrutiny will be published at 10am on Thursday (September 10), allowing students to check whether their results have changed after the review.
The results will be available on the respective education boards’ websites and through SMS sent to the mobile numbers provided during the application process. Students can also check their results through the dedicated website, rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd.
The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee announced the schedule in a notice on Wednesday.
Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the publication.
This year’s re-scrutiny process has been expanded, with answer scripts undergoing a broader review than in previous years. Previously, the process mainly checked whether marks had been added incorrectly or whether marks for any answer had been left uncounted. This year, submitted scripts are also being reviewed afresh.
Applications for re-scrutiny were accepted from August 11 to August 17. A total of 402,051 students across 11 education boards applied, covering 1,287,926 answer scripts — 1,056,455 written papers and 231,471 practical papers.
The Dhaka Education Board received the highest number of applications, with 94,236 students seeking re-scrutiny of 335,677 written and practical answer scripts.
Significant numbers of applications were also submitted to the Cumilla, Rajshahi, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur and Mymensingh boards. More than 40,000 students applied through the Madrasa Education Board and over 20,000 through the Technical Education Board.
