SSC results 2026 out: 62.25% pass, 116,676 score GPA-5
Results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Monday (August 10), with the overall pass rate across the country’s 11 education boards standing at 62.25 percent.
Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan announced the results at 10:00am at a programme held at the Education Ministry’s conference room.
A total of 116,676 students secured GPA-5 this year. Among students under the nine general education boards, 106,009 achieved the highest grade point, down from 125,018 last year.
A total of 1,857,344 students took the SSC and equivalent examinations this year, including 930,305 boys and 927,039 girls.
Of them, 1,418,398 candidates appeared under the nine general education boards, while 304,286 sat for the Dakhil examinations under the Madrasa Education Board and 134,660 took part in the examinations under the Technical Education Board.
The examinations were held at 3,885 centres across the country, involving students from 30,666 educational institutions.
Students will be able to access their results from noon through designated online platforms, their respective educational institutions and SMS services.
Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman said students would be able to collect their results from their institutions in addition to checking them online or through SMS.
