SSC results to be published Monday at 10am, know how to check through SMS

This year's SSC and equivalent examination results will be published on Monday, August 10, at 10am. Students will be able to check their results through their respective education boards and institutions, as well as via SMS.

Professor Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the information on Saturday, August 8.

He said the SSC and equivalent results will be published at 10am on Monday. Results will be available on all education board websites. Results for each board will be published on the respective board's website. Additionally, students can access their results through two common websites: eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.

Board sources said students can check results via SMS using any mobile SIM. To do so, go to the message option, type SSC, then a space, followed by the first three letters of the board name, then the roll number. After another space, type YEAR and send the SMS to 16140. The result will be sent back via return SMS.

For Dhaka Education Board students, the SMS format will be: SSC DHA ROLL YEAR. For Dakhil examinees under the Madrasa Education Board, send SSC MAD ROLL YEAR to 16140. For SSC (Vocational) examinees under the Technical Education Board, send SSC TEC ROLL YEAR to the same number.

Each SMS will cost Tk 1.39, inclusive of all taxes.

This year, a total of 18,57,344 students filled out forms to sit for the SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 14,18,398 students participated in the SSC examination under nine general education boards.

A total of 3,04,286 students filled out forms for the Dakhil examination under the Madrasa Education Board, while 1,34,660 students participated in the SSC (Vocational) examination under the Technical Education Board.
