SSC results to be published on July 20: Education Minister

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on July 20, Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon has said.

He made the announcement at a views-exchange meeting with officials of Chattogram Education Board, Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board at Chattogram College Auditorium on Tuesday, June 23.

The minister said question paper leaks had been a major challenge for the education system in recent years, and the ministry and law enforcement agencies are working together to break the cycle and ensure transparency.

"We will randomly check answer scripts from all boards to see if anyone has given marks unfairly," he said.

The minister said he had personally visited the Bangladesh Government Press to oversee security measures to prevent question paper leaks.

"The issue of cheating has been buried long ago. But now cheating has gone digital. That must be resisted accordingly," he added.
