The government has withdrawn the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of Sunamganj and Kishoreganj districts. A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (April 15) night. The notification said that Sunamganj DC Md. Ilias Mia and Kishoreganj DC Aslam Mollah have been withdrawn and assigned to the Ministry of Public Administration for further posting. In another notification of the Ministry of Public Administration, Director of the Chattogram Divisional Social Services Department Md. Minhazur Rahman has been appointed as the DC of Sunamganj and Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Sohana Nasrin has been appointed as the DC of Kishoreganj. The notification also said that this order will come into effect immediately.

সুনামগঞ্জ ও কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলার ডেপুটি কমিশনার (ডিসি) প্রত্যাহার করেছে সরকার। বুধবার (১৫ এপ্রিল) রাতে জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে এ সংক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করা হয়েছে। প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়েছে সুনামগঞ্জের ডিসি মো. ইলিয়াস মিয়া ও কিশোরগঞ্জের ডিসি আসলাম মোল্লাকে প্রত্যাহার করে পরবর্তী পদায়নের জন্য জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ে ন্যাস্ত করা হয়েছে। জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের অপর এক প্রজ্ঞাপনে চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগীয় সমাজসেবা অধিদফতরের পরিচালক মো. মিনহাজুর রহমানকে সুনামগঞ্জের ডিসি ও স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপ সচিব সোহানা নাসরিনকে কিশোরগঞ্জের ডিসি হিসেবে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই আদেশ অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হবে বলেও প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়েছে।
