Taimur Hossain Khan becomes President’s APS

Md Taimur Hossain Khan has been appointed to the post of Assistant Private Secretary (APS) to the President. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday giving the contractual appointment.

It has been said in the notification that Taimur Hossain Khan has been given contractual appointment to the post of Assistant Private Secretary to the President. He will perform duty in this post from the date of joining until the tenure of the President or subject to the satisfaction of the President, whichever occurs earlier.

However, as a condition of this appointment, he will not be allowed to remain associated with any other profession or business. At the same time, he will also have to give up work relations with any government, semi-government or private institution or organization.

It has been further said in the notification that duty will have to be performed following the prescribed conditions and the appointment will remain dependent on the tenure of the President or his satisfaction.
