Tarique Rahman arrives at public reception stage in Purbachal

BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has arrived on stage at a public reception in the capital's Purbachal area. He appeared on the stage around 3:50 pm on Thursday, November 25.

Senior party leaders accompanied him. Upon reaching the stage, Tarique Rahman waved to the assembled leaders and activists.

Earlier, after a welcoming ceremony hosted by the BNP Standing Committee members at noon, he left the airport at 12:36 pm.

Upon exiting the airport terminal and before boarding a bus, Tarique Rahman removed his shoes, stepped onto the ground, and picked up a handful of soil. The gesture created an emotional atmosphere among the leaders and activists present.

Prior to this, senior BNP leaders, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdul Moeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Selima Rahman, Salahuddin Ahmed, Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin, and Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, received Tarique Rahman, his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman, and daughter Jaima Rahman at the airport.

After departing the airport in a specially decorated red and green bus, Tarique Rahman headed for Purbachal. His convoy is scheduled to travel via the 36 July Expressway, also known as the 300 Feet Road, towards the Evercare Hospital.
