Tarique Rahman pays tribute at graves of Pilkhana martyrs
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman paid tribute at the graves of 57 army officers killed in the Pilkhana tragedy at the Banani Military Graveyard in the capital.
He arrived at the military cemetery around 3:00 pm on Saturday and offered prayers, seeking eternal peace for the departed souls.
Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman’s chief security officer Brigadier General retired Dr AKM Shamsul Islam were present at the time.
Earlier, Tarique Rahman also visited the graves of his younger brother Arafat Rahman Koko and his father-in-law Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan at the Banani graveyard.
