Tarique Rahman to address 14 rallies in Dhaka over 2 days

BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman will address a total of 14 election rallies across Dhaka North and South City Corporations over two days. These rallies will be held on the upcoming Sunday, February 8, and Monday, February 9.

The schedule was announced at a press conference held at the BNP Election Steering Committee's office in Gulshan, Dhaka, on Saturday afternoon. The announcement was made by the committee's spokesperson and Tarique Rahman's advisor, Mahdi Amin. He stated that during the two-day programme, Tarique Rahman would interact directly with voters.

On Sunday, February 8, Tarique Rahman will address rallies in six parliamentary constituencies of Dhaka North City. After delivering his first speech at the ECB premises in Dhaka-17 constituency at 2:00 pm, he will speak at the Lal Maidan in Pallabi Ward No. 2, Dhaka-16, at 2:40 pm; at Senpara Adarsha Government High School near Mirpur-10 Golchattar, Dhaka-15, at 3:30 pm; at the gate of National Bangla High School, Dhaka-14, at 4:20 pm; at the Shamoli Club ground west of Shamoli Cinema Hall, Dhaka-13, at 5:10 pm; and finally at 6:00 pm, he will address a rally at the San Valley ground in Satarkul, Badda, Dhaka-11.

The next day, Monday, February 9, Tarique Rahman will participate in a total of eight rallies in his own constituency and seven other constituencies of Dhaka South City. He will begin the day's programme with a rally at the Banani Kamal Ataturk Avenue playground in Dhaka-17 at 11:00 am. Subsequently, he will address rallies at the Kalabagan Krira Chakra ground, Dhaka-10, at 12:00 pm; at Pirjangi Mazar Road, Dhaka-8, at 1:00 pm; at the Manda Tarun Sangha ground, Dhaka-9, at 2:00 pm; at Jatrabari's Shaheed Faruk Road, Dhaka-5, at 3:00 pm; at the Juraine-Shyampur Road, Dhaka-4, at 4pm; at Dhupkhola ground, Dhaka-6, at 5:00 pm; and at the Lalbagh Balur Math, Dhaka-7, at 6:00 pm.

BNP leaders said that in these rallies, Tarique Rahman would present his views on the party's declared election manifesto, the current political situation, and the future of Bangladesh. Party leaders and activists have been instructed to take necessary preparations to make these rallies successful.
