Tarique Rahman to address nation this evening

BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman will deliver a national address this evening (February 9) ahead of the 13th parliamentary election, Bangladesh Television (BTV) officials said.

According to BTV, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will address the nation between 6:00pm and 7:00pm, followed by Tarique Rahman’s speech from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

Earlier in the evening, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Mamunul Haque is also scheduled to deliver a national address during the 6:00pm–7:00pm slot.

On Sunday, BTV aired national addresses by Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Charmonaipir) at 6:00pm and NCP Convener Nahid Islam at 7:00pm, as part of the election-time broadcasts.
