Tarique Rahman to depart for Chattogram tonight

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will leave Dhaka for Chattogram tonight at 7:35pm as part of his 13th National Parliamentary Election campaign, party adviser and election management spokesperson Mahdi Amin said.

Speaking at a press conference at BNP’s central election office in Gulshan on Saturday (January 24), Amin said Tarique Rahman will spend the night in Chattogram and begin his programme Sunday morning at 9:30am with a ‘Youth Policy Talk’, involving around 300 university students.

The discussion will cover BNP policies on education, employment, agriculture, health, women’s empowerment, and the environment.

He will then attend an election rally at Chattogram Polo Ground, followed by another rally at Pilot High School Ground en route.

Amin added that after Chattogram, Tarique Rahman will hold rallies in Cumilla’s Chauddagram High School Ground, Sonagazi’s Dikbaji Ground, Daudkandi Upazila’s Central Eidgah Ground, and an additional rally at Kajlamath in Narayanganj before returning to his Gulshan residence in Dhaka at night.
