Tarique Rahman to meet Charmonai Pir

Amid the government formation process, Tarique Rahman has strengthened political contacts. This time he is going to meet with Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, the Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the central office of Islami Andolan at Noakhali Tower in Purana Paltan in the capital on Monday (February 16) at 6 pm. The BNP's media cell has confirmed the matter.

Earlier, Tarique Rahman first met Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and later visited the residence of Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam on Sunday evening, February 15.

After achieving an absolute majority in the 13th National Parliament election, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is on the way to forming the government. The oath-taking of the newly elected members of parliament and the new cabinet members is scheduled to be held on the morning of February 17 and the afternoon.

According to political analysts, these meetings with leaders of various Islamic and political parties before the formation of the government could be part of a strategy for future coordination and strengthening relations.
