Tarique Rahman to visit Khulna and Jashore on Monday

BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman is set to take part in election campaigns in two cities of the country’s south-western region.

BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said that Tarique Rahman will address separate election rallies in Khulna and Jashore on Monday.

According to the schedule, Tarique Rahman will depart Dhaka by helicopter at 11:00 am and arrive in Khulna. At 12:00 noon, he will address an election rally at the Prabhati School ground adjacent to Government Haji Muhammad Muhsin College in Khulna city.

At 1:00 pm, the BNP chairperson will fly by helicopter from Khulna to Jashore. He will attend another election rally at 1:40 pm at the Birampur Adarsha Government Primary School ground in Jashore New Township. After the rally, he will return to Dhaka by helicopter at 2:40 pm.

Earlier, on 22 January, Tarique Rahman launched his election campaign from the Alia Madrasa ground in Sylhet. On the same day, he addressed consecutive election rallies in Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Brahmanbaria, Kishoreganj, Narsingdi and Narayanganj.

On 25 January, he began a new phase of campaigning from Chattogram, addressing rallies in Feni, Chauddagram in Cumilla, Sonagazi, Daudkandi and Narayanganj before returning to Dhaka.

On 29 January, the BNP chairperson started his northern region tour, participating in election rallies in Rajshahi, Naogaon, Bogura, Rangpur, Sirajganj and Tangail over three days, before returning to Dhaka on Saturday.

Party sources said that between 22 and 31 January, Tarique Rahman took part in a total of 22 election rallies across the country.
