Tarique Rahman visits grave of younger brother Koko

BNP chairperson Tarique Rahman visited the grave of his younger brother Arafat Rahman Koko on the 11th anniversary of his death. He paid his respects on Saturday afternoon at Banani Graveyard in Dhaka, accompanied by family members.

The information was confirmed by the BNP media cell. To mark Arafat Rahman Koko’s death anniversary, the party organised doa and milad mahfil programmes.

Earlier in the day, at 11am, a doa mahfil was held at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan.

Before that, in the morning, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi led party leaders and activists in paying respects at Koko’s grave at Banani Graveyard. Later, BNP leaders and activists from the central, metropolitan, affiliated and associate bodies joined the doa and milad mahfil at the Nayapaltan office.
