Tarique Rahman visits Nahid Islam's residence with flowers

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has arrived at the residence of National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam for a courtesy visit, conveying a message of post-election political harmony and positive politics.

He reached Nahid Islam's residence at 5 Circuit House Road in the capital around 8:27 pm on Sunday, February 15. NCP leaders welcomed him there.

Earlier the same day, around 7 pm, he had visited the Jamaat Ameer's residence. The BNP Chairman came directly to Nahid Islam's residence from there.

According to party sources, the courtesy visit aims to discuss the post-election situation, political coexistence and future cooperation.

Earlier on Saturday, February 14, the BNP media wing had announced that the party chairman would pay courtesy visits to the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman and NCP President Nahid Islam.
