Tarique Rahman’s motorcade reaches reception venue

BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s motorcade has reached the public reception venue in the capital’s 300 Feet area, travelling from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a red and green bus.

Amid thunderous cheers and greetings from thousands of party leaders and activists, Tarique Rahman was moving towards the stage under tight army security at around 2.30pm on December 25.

To mark his arrival, countless BNP leaders and activists lined both sides of the road from the airport to the 300 Feet area. Standing at the front and side of the bus, Tarique Rahman waved to party leaders, activists and members of the public.

Earlier, the aircraft carrying Tarique Rahman landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 11.40am on December 25.

At the airport, he was welcomed with flower garlands by his mother-in-law Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu. After the family reunion, Tarique Rahman exchanged greetings with senior BNP leaders.

He later bid farewell to his family and boarded the red and green vehicle to head for the reception venue.
