A fire that broke out at the TCB building in Karwan Bazar in the capital, has brought under control. Two units of the fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Rakibul Islam, duty officer of the fire service control room, confirmed on Sunday. He said that two units of the fire service left for the spot on Sunday at 8:54pm.Then they brought the fire under control at 9:08pm. Initially, the fire service official could not tell the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.

রাজধানীর কারওয়ান বাজারের টিসিবি ভবনে আগুন লাগার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। তবে, ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে এনেছে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের দুটি ইউনিট। রবিবার এ তথ্য জানান ফায়ার সার্ভিস নিয়ন্ত্রণ কক্ষের ডিউটি অফিসার রাকিবুল ইসলাম। তিনি বলেন, রবিবার রাত ৮টা ৫৪ মিনিটে আগুনের খবরে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের দুটি ইউনিট ঘটনাস্থলের দিকে রওনা করে। এরপর রাত ৯টা ৮ মিনিটে তারা আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনে। প্রাথমিকভাবে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের কারণ ও ক্ষয়ক্ষতির পরিমাণ জানাতে পারেননি ফায়ার সার্ভিসের এই কর্মকর্তা।
