Teacher recruitment results published, 14,952 pass
The results of the first written exam held for recruitment to top administrative positions in private schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutions have been published. A total of 14,952 candidates have passed it.
The results were released by the Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) at 11:30pm on Wednesday (April 22).
NTRCA Chairman Md. Aminul Islam confirmed the matter and said that the results will be available on the organization's website.
In the next step, candidates who pass the written exam will take part in the oral exam (viva). The NTRCA Chairman said that this time artificial intelligence will be used to take the oral exam. The help of this modern technology is being taken to ensure transparency and accuracy.
It is learned that the process of recruiting 12,951 vacant posts in private educational institutions is underway through this exam, which is being organized for the first time. These posts include Principal, Vice-Principal, Head Teacher, Assistant Head Teacher, Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
This MCQ-based written examination was held in 9 educational institutions in Dhaka. 53,069 candidates applied for it, out of which 48,146 participated in the examination.
It is worth noting that on January 27, the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education issued a notification giving NTRCA the responsibility of recruiting to these administrative posts. Although it has been recommending the Teacher Registration Examination since 2005 and the recruitment of entry-level teachers since 2016, this is the first time that the organization is conducting the recruitment process for top posts.
